FREE STEM Training day

Collective Learning are delighted to be working in partnership with STEM Learning Wales. It means that we can run a day of workshops that are relevant to the professional need of our teachers in Wales. We are able to offer schools a free STEM INSET day at the Future Inn on Monday 1st July. We can take whole schools if they have an inset day that day but appreciate these may have already been allocated for this academic year. However, we can also take some individual teachers. We have room for 150 staff in total!

Course objectives
The day will consist of 2 half day workshops chosen from the following:- Techniquest - planetarium plus lab session
- Cath Delve - Maths in PS1/2
- Lynwen Barnsley - Measures and data handling in STEM
- Steph Vaughan - Non-fiction reading and writing in STEM
- Gareth Morgan - Databases and spreadsheets in STEM
- Nerys Tudor Jones - DT aspect
- Huw Duggan - Leading your AoLE
